Welcome Home!
The founders of International House envisioned a dynamic community of scholars from all over the world. Individual rooms were intentionally small so that residents would seek out the public spaces and meet each other in comfortable settings. Below are maps of the House’s public spaces, where, as the founders had dreamed, residents can talk about their similarities and differences–to share stories, participate in programs together, and celebrate the disintegration of prejudices and other barriers to understanding.
