Join International House alumni and friends on Wednesday, July 25th for a summer evening of fun with up close views of thrilling J/24 sailboat races in the harbor on board the Honorable William Wall, the Manhattan Sailing Club’s floating clubhouse situated near Ellis Island in the New York Harbor.
The Honorable William Wall is the floating clubhouse of Manhattan Yacht Club. It is a 90 ft steel barge with an open-air upper deck. The Clubhouse is anchored in New York Harbor just north of Ellis Island. The Clubhouse offers incredible views for watching the sailboat races.
Reserve your spot today (limited spots available) and join I-House alumni and friends for a fun summer night watching sailboat races on the Hudson River! Upon registering you will receive an email from Alumni Relations with a link to purchase your ticket for transportation. Tickets will cost $20 (not including taxes & fees).
For guests coming from Manhattan, ferry leaves from the WFC Ferry Terminal (Vesey Street and the Hudson River) at 5:15 pm; 5:45 pm; 6:15 pm; 6:45 pm. Races start at 6:30 pm and will run until around sunset. It is recommended to book the 5:45pm or earlier launch from Manhattan or the 6:00pm launch from New Jersey to see the races from the start.
For guests coming from Jersey City, there are 2 locations (Surf City or Warren Street Pier). They run roughly on the half hour (5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm etc., with the last run at 8:30 pm).

Beverages are available at the sailing club (cash bar) and light fare will be provided by the Office for Development, Alumni Relations & Communications.
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes (so that you can get on/off ferries and Clubhouse safely) and bring a sweater or jacket, especially if you stay after sunset!
